Densely packed and intensely flavored, with its pungent lemony citricity complicated by a distinctly petrolly, gunflinty note. Finishes impressively brisk, long and serious. Ramonet's vines in Saint-Aubin were not frosted in 2016, according to Jean-Claude. This very concentrated wine is more about soil than primary fruit." 09/18
