91 Points, Allen Meadows, Burghound: "There is just enough post-bottling SO2 to interfere slightly with the slightly exotic white orchard fruit aromas that are trimmed in a subtle dollop of wood. There is fine richness and volume to the caressing medium weight flavors that also possess a beguiling texture before culminating in a focused, complex and attractively persistent finish. This is sufficiently forward that it should be approachable after only 3 to 4 years if desired." #79 07/20

94 Points, Tim Atkin MW, Decanter: "Chatenière is a more sheltered Saint Aubin Premier Cru that is less affected by the cool winds from the north and is often picked a little earlier by Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey. Very pale in colour, this is a very pure, almost transparent expression of its terroir with notes of beeswax and lanolin, tangy minerality and a long, chalky, elegant finish." 10/18

Sheltered from the wind and sunny at both ends of the day, so now the first to be picked in St-Aubin. Two plots of old vines, 55 and 60 years old. Gorgeous racy fruit here set in a wealth of ripe apple, with a fine thread of acidity, beautifully concentrated and very long." 10/19
