Nowhere is that more evident than in Solaia, a wine that retains exceptional freshness. Graphite, plum, smoke, licorice and menthol meld into the dark, brooding finish. In 2005, Solaia is a bit more refined than Tignanello, but both wines are impressive." 12/15
