94-95 Points; John Gilman; View from the Cellar: "The Bonnes-Mares 2014 at Domaine de Comte de Vogüé comes in at a very svelte 12.4 percent alcohol; but delivers just lovely fruit sappiness to go along with stellar transparency. The nose delivers a lovely range of scents; with notes of damson plums; black cherries; raw cocoa; smoke; mustard seed; peonies; gentle notes of new wood and a beautifully refined range of soil. tones. On the palate the wine is deep; full-bodied and very soil-driven; with plenty of sappiness in reserve at the core; ripe; beautifully-integrated tannins and a long; vibrant and very; very promising finish. A beautiful example of Bonnes-Mares in the making." Issue# 60; 12/15. . 93-95 Points; Neal Martin; Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:. "The 2014 Bonnes Mares Grand Cru has an intriguing and complex bouquet. It is equidistant between red and black fruit; forsaking the sorbet-like tendencies of other Bonnes-Mares 2014 that I tasted from barrel. Rather; this is more earthbound with scents of potter's wheel and woodland infusing the fruit. The palate is towards the red side of the fruit spectrum like the Amoureuses; very saline in the mouth; actually quite Musigny-like in style with fine structure towards the finish and a long; delicately spiced aftertaste. This should become a cerebral Bonnes-Mares." Issue#222 12/15. . 92-94 Points; Allen Meadows; Burghound:. "A completely different aromatic profile is present with its much earthier array of notably fresh red berries and discreet sauvage aromas. There is excellent richness to the muscular and full-bodied flavors that also possess fine mid-palate concentration that coats the mouth and helps to buffer the very firm tannic spine on the seamlessly proportioned finale. This very firmly structured effort is clearly going to require 15 to 20 years to arrive at its peak." Issue# 61 01/16. . 18 Points; Jancis Robinson:. "Very deep colour. Fresh and tense. Racy and fruity – much more transparent and readable than the Amoureuses at this point. Sleek and fun. Serious but with very obvious fruit ripeness too. Dry finish shows it will last well." 11/15

92-93 Points; John Gilman; View from the Cellar: "The bottling of young vine Musigny is going to be superb in 2014; as the wine shows the vintage’s beautiful combination of sappy pure fruit and great transparency. The bouquet wafts from the glass in a perfumed constellation of red and black cherries; plums; bitter chocolate; a touch of marjoram; a fine base of soil; a dollop of vanillin oak and a smoky topnote. On the. palate the wine is pure; full-bodied and sappy from start to finish; with lovely mid-palate. concentration; fine-grained tannins and a long; potentially very velvety finish. Lovely juice." Issue#60; 12/15. . 91-93 Points; Allen Meadows; Burghound:. "The intensely floral-suffused nose reveals notes of lavender; rose petal and lilac along with plenty of spice elements on the mostly red berry fruit aromas. There is notably more volume to the equally pure medium weight plus flavors that positively vibrate with energy and minerality before culminating in a harmonious and beautifully well-balanced finale. This really builds from the mid-palate as the finish is sneaky long." Issue# 61 01/16. . 90-92 Points; Neal Martin; Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:. "The 2014 Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru; from declassified vines under 25 years in Musigny; has a more introverted bouquet than the Village Cru at the moment -- here; displaying more obvious woodland and sous-bois aromas. The palate leans more towards the red fruit spectrum with raspberry and wild strawberry; and an attractive tang of spice; dovetailing into a structured and lively finish. This is a classy Chambolle 1er Cru -- not to be overlooked." Issue# 222 12/15. . 17.5 Points; Jancis Robinson:. "Intense; very fruity and round. Pretty smashing! Much closer to a grand cru than a premier cru. Really exciting. Very fine tannins on the end." 10/15

94-96 Points; Neal Martin; Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:. "The 2014 Chambolle Musigny 1er Cru Amoureuses is very different from the Chambolle Premier Cru; This explodes with blueberry and blackberry; wilted violets and then later; a touch of boysenberry jam. The palate is medium-bodied with succulent ripe dark cherry fruit; a vein of white pepper; fine structured and very pure with superb tension and mineralité bursting through on the finish. This is a divine Amoureuses; probably more approachable when young compared to recent vintages; but with the substance to age as this cuvée has an inclination to do." Issue# 222; 12/15. . 92-95 Points; Allen Meadows; Burghound:. "Here the elegant and cool nose is spicier still though less evidentially floral in character with its extract of red and black currant; plum and sandalwood-scented aromas. The mouth feel of the middle weight and beautifully well-delineated flavors is silky and markedly refined; all wrapped in a firm and youthfully austere finish that is also sneaky long because as soon as it appears to have disappears; it reappears. A classic Amoureuses." Issue# 61; 01/16 . . 93-94 Points; John Gilman; View from the Cellar: "The 2014 les Amoureuses here is also outstanding; but it will want a couple of years more in the cellar to fully blossom than the Premier Cru cuvée. The bouquet is pure and very floral in personality this year; jumping from the glass in a gorgeous blend of plums; black cherries; pomegranate; cocoa; a touch of nutskin; floral tones redolent of roses and peonies; woodsmoke and a whisper of new wood. On the palate the wine is pure; full-bodied and very sappy at the core; with lovely layers of soil tones; suave tannins and a long; focused and very classy finish. This too seems likely to be a very velvety wine when it has fully blossomed." Issue# 60; 12/15. . 17.5+ Points; Jancis Robinson:. "Dark crimson. A little inexpressive today on the nose. Savoury and ambitious. Lots tucked in there but not the full amplitude yet. A tiny bit stringy on the end. It’s telling us to go away and come back another day.' 10/15
