93 Points, William Kelley, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2017 Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru Aux Serpentières is more reserved, unwinding to reveal a pretty bouquet of red cherries, plums and strawberries mingled with spices and peonies. Medium to full-bodied, deep and fleshy, it's nicely concentrated, its ample chassis of satiny tannin largely concealed, concluding with fine persistence. Don't let its structural elegance deceive you, however, as this will really come into its own at age 10 and beyond." 02/20

90 Points, Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy: "Something of a flagship wine at the domaine. Intriguingly, despite a relatively pale pink-purple colour and the floral almost cherry blossom bouquet, with fresh red fruit, between redcurrant and raspberry, on the palate. There are some firmer tannins behind, suggesting that despite the lightness of touch this wine will prove to be a keeper." 11/18
