A careful approach has been implemented to draw out more of the complexity and depth you get with Sangiovese grown in the celebrated Montalcino appellation. This Rosso is tight and compact with enough inner energy and versatility to pair with your favorite Italian pasta dishes. The wine has the tannins to stand up to hearty foods. Some 22,000 bottles were made. This is a terrific Rosso that I am happy to recommend." 02/19
