Ribera del Duero Crianza Bodegas Aster 2015 (750ML)

Inky ruby. Powerful black and blue fruit aromas are complemented by suggestions of licorice, dark chocolate and candied violet. Ripe and fleshy on the palate, offering weighty cassis and bitter cherry flavors and an energizing jolt of spiciness. Finishes chewy and long, with gently gripping tannins and lingering smokiness. This shows really attractive fresh blueberries, violet and elderberry reduction with vanilla. Full-bodied but with firm tannins that pick up the dark fruit and carry it medium-long.
