Reviews

Vinous Media

91 Points, Stephen Tanzer: "Pale, bright yellow. A bit deeper-pitched and more subdued on the nose than the Combettes, offering scents of fresh apricot, peach, vanillin oak and spices. Fat, pliant and broad, with its fruit sweetness leavened by saline minerality. Finishes reasonably firm, with good length and lift. This wine shows more mineral energy here than the Champs-Gains or Combettes. (Drink between 2020-2026)"

Burghound

91-93, Allen Meadows, Burghound: "This too is aromatically quite restrained today with its cool and pretty if reluctant aromas of acacia, green apples, zest and spice. There is excellent delineation and punch to the more evidently mineral-driven medium weight flavors that culminate in a subtly long and complex finish. Overall this is lovely and while I marginally prefer the Combettes, the two wines are qualitatively quite similar while offering two different expressions. (Drink starting 2023)

Decanter

93 Points, William Kelley, Decanter: "The Perrières is a young classic this year, with a bouquet of white stone fruit, crème pâtissière and chalky soil. On the palate the wine is cool, glossy and refined. It's not as ample or voluminous as the Combettes, but is more elegant with perfect balance, finishing with superb length and detail." 10/17
