Puligny Montrachet Garenne Faiveley 2016 (750ML)
92 Points, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous: "(these vines were not frosted): Pear drop and a hint of apple on the rather suave nose. Fat and fine-grained; a tad sweeter than the Referts but could use a bit more thrust. This edge-free wine features a flavor of pear drop along with an element of saline minerality that gives it good natural balance. Viticulturist Flous recommends pairing it with lobster in cream sauce." 9/18
93 Points, Bruce Sanderson, Wine Spectator: "A rich, powerful style, with deeply embedded oak spice, peach, apricot and citronella aromas and flavors. The vibrant structure keeps this balanced and well-defined, while the finish builds on the tangy acidity to a lingering aftertaste of ripe orchard fruit and spice notes. Drink now through 2027. 50 cases imported." 9/18
