Antonio Galloni

91 Points, Antonio Galloni, Vinous: "The NV Brut Rosé Royale Réserve is absolutely lovely. Soft, open-knit and inviting, the Rosé Royale Réserve is an ideal wine for drinking now and over the next handful of years. All the elements fall into place effortlessly. The Rosé Royale Réserve is built on a strong core of Pinot Noir that represents 75% of the blend, and is the Pinot that drives both the flavor profile and overall feel. Readers will find a Rosé that will drink equally well as an aperitif or at the dinner table. This is an especially fine edition. This release is based on 2016, with the addition of 35% reserve wines. Dosage is 9 grams per liter. Disgorged: February, 2020." 11/20

Vinous Media

92 Points, Josh Raynolds, Vinous: "Pale orange. Fresh red berries, tangerine, sweet butter and candied rose on the highly perfumed nose. Silky and expansive, offering juicy red berry and floral pastille flavors supported by an undercurrent of chalky minerals. Sappy and sharply focused on the minerally, floral finish, which hangs on with excellent tenacity." 01/14

Burghound

92 Points, Allen Meadows, Burghound: "A moderately fruity nose reflects notes of cherry, strawberry, raspberry, yeast and a subtle citrus nuance. There is a really lovely sense of energy to the delicious, round and nicely voluminous flavors that are shaped by a moderately fine effervescence that carries over to a lingering and solidly complex finish that is drier than the 9 g/L of dosage would suggest. One of the aspects that I particularly like here is that unlike many examples of rosé that tend to be prettier than they are deep, there has very good depth. Like the Royale Réserve, this could easily be held for further aging but it is so attractive now that there is no particular reason to do so." 06/17, Issue #67
