88-91 Points, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous: "Bright, dark red. Less porty on the nose than the Chaignots but still showing a note of black cherry syrup. Sweet black cherry and black raspberry flavors are complicated by a hint of licorice, with a slightly roasted quality emerging with air. Quite ripe and dense but more about fruit than minerality. Has good mid-palate stuffing to support its tannins." 1/17
