On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, supple and fleshy, with an open-knit core of ripe but succulent fruit. This is an especially elegant Nuits, concluding a lovely triumvirate of communal bottlings chez Hudelot-Noellat this year." 01/20

89-91 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous: "The 2018 Nuits Saint-Georges Au Bas de Combe Village has a pretty dark cherry, briar and undergrowth bouquet, well-defined and nicely focused. The palate is medium-bodied and quite saline with good acidity. A discreet meatiness comes through toward the finish and a dash of five-spice appears on the aftertaste. This is a fascinating Nuits Saint-George." 01/20
