Full-bodied, rich and concentrated, it's a broad shouldered, muscular wine with a deep core of fruit and a notable payload of rich, powdery tannins. This is a rather chunky, blocky Clos des Forêts that is more impactful than elegant at this early stage." 01/22

The rich, energetic and well-detailed larger-scaled flavors evidence solid muscle and power on the moderately rustic, balanced and complex finale. 90-94 Points, Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy: "43% whole bunch. A rich deep dense purple colour. Concentrated dark fruit, there is a plummy richness to the fruit, suggests maybe picked a day or two late. Pleasingly fresh finish, almost a bit angular, as if there are two parts to the wine which have not yet fully integrated. The structure suggests picked a fraction too early, the fruit says it needed to be harvested." 12/21
