89 Points, Allen Meadows, Burghound: “Remarkably youthful nose that displays entirely fresh and primary fruit aromas followed by still tight but not rustic medium weight flavors that are sweet and still moderately tannic. There is fine length here and this displays none of the overly advanced aromas and somewhat cooked flavors of many '90s these days. With air, this begins to show its origins and vintage but it remains a terrifically fresh if not especially complex effort that needs another 3 to 5 years in the bottle to really be at its best.” 04/08
