"A Limited Release Bottling from one of Piedmont's Historic Estate. This Nebbiolo is produced from 100% Nebbiolo (same grape as Barolo) from Borgogno’s own vineyards in Castellinaldo and Diano d’Alba. The Sandy marl and clay soils produce a softer style of Nebbiolo, aged for one year in Slavonian oak barrels (2500-5000 liters) prior to bottling. This Nebbiolo is beautifully balanced and will easily provide delicious drinking over the next five years. Nebbiolo d’Alba is a great way to experience the noble terroir of Barolo without the hefty price tag!"
