    In Stock — Zachys NY
90 Points, Gillian Sciaretta, Wine Spectator: "A well-meshed red, with layers of plum compote, anise and blackberry reduction, edged with milk chocolate, floral and black tea elements. Ample spice notes linger onto the moderately tannic finish. Drink now through 2023. 1,000 cases made." 9/17

    Critics

    Vinous Media
93 points, Josh Raynolds, Vinous: "Youthful violet. Powerful, mineral-accented cassis, cherry and violet scents pick up vanilla and woodsmoke nuances in the glass. Stains the palate with chewy dark berry, bitter cherry and mocha flavors that take a sweeter turn on the back half. Continues to open up on the impressively persistent finish, which features dusty tannins and a whiplash of sappy dark fruit." 12/17
    James Suckling Notes
"94 Points, James Suckling: ""Extremely rich aromas of crushed ripe berries and hints of forest fruit. Stones, too. Dense, full-bodied, mineral and creamy with a stoney undertone. Crazy wine. Great Beaujolais. Drink or age."" 2/17"

    Burghound Notes
91 points, Allen Meadows, Burghound: "Here too the nose is very ripe yet it manages to stay just short of being surmature with aromas of plum liqueur, spice, earth and a vaguely sauvage wisp. There is excellent concentration to the velvet-textured medium weight plus flavors that display ample power that continues onto the moderately warm but highly persistent and sappy finish that is shaped by very firm tannins. I would be inclined to serve this on the cooler side to combat the warmth if you're going to open a bottle young. Otherwise it should age well as there is both excellent density to buffer the prominent tannic spine." 10/17
    Wine Enthusiast Notes
"93 Points, Wine Enthusiast: [Cellar Selection] ""From this always impressive estate, owned by Louis Jadot in Beaune, this wine is richly structured and dense. With some wood aging, it has an extra ripeness and tannic concentration."" 3/17"
