89+ Points, John Gilman, View From the Cellar: "There was no frost of course in Morey, but we did not taste the premier cru of Clos Sorbés here, as a sample had not been prepared, and had to content ourselves with this very pretty Morey AC bottling. The bouquet of the 2016 Clos Solon is quite sappy, wafting from the glass in a lovely blend of red plums, black cherries, dark soil tones, mustard seed, violets and a touch of cedar. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and nicely plush on the attack, with a good core, fine focus and grip and a long, moderately tannic and well-balanced finish. Good juice. 2022-2050."
