90-92 Points, Neal Martin, The Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Meursault Le Tesson was unfined when I tasted the barrel sample at the domaine. It has a strict bouquet of granite, a touch of dried honey and dried quince, a little more generous after ten minutes in the glass. The palate is very well balanced with crisp acidity, hints of orange pith and grapefruit, leading to a lovely, lively finish with a twist of sour lemon. This is excellent." 4/17

91-93 Points, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous: "Pale, green-tinged yellow. Sexy, pure nose offers scents of citrus fruits and flowers. Supple, bright and elegantly styled, showing terrific spicy lift to its citrus flavors. This sappy wine really echoes and rises on the vibrant aftertaste. A beauty in the making, this is at the level of a very good premier cru. (Roulot's Poruzots was still finishing its malolactic fermentation.)" 9-16

There is notably more volume if a bit less refinement to the rich and full-bodied flavors that coat the palate with sap while delivering outstanding depth and length on the sleek and balanced finish that really fans out. The bouquet is pure, complex and lifted, offering up scents of lime zest, chalky minerality, sweet grapefruit, chalky minerality, hazelnuts, vanillin oak and iodine. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and transparent, with a fine core, zesty acids and lovely mineral drive on the long and energetic finish. This is really a lovely bottle of wine and so impressive for its freshness in the context of 2015! 2018-2035+. " Issue #66 11/16
