94 Points, John Gilman, View from the Cellar: "Benoît Marguet is very passionate about his non-vintage Rosé bottlings and makes a fairly high percentage of his production as Rosé each year. I have had some truly magical examples from him, including his 2008 and 2009 versions, but his Shaman 15 bottling may be the finest yet! The wine is a blend of seventy-eight percent chardonnay and twenty-seven percent pinot noir and was disgorged in May of 2018. There was no finishing dosage used with this base year 2015 bottling. The bouquet is simply stunning, soaring from the glass in a blend of white cherries, tangerine, brioche, chalky minerality and a topnote of orange blossoms. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, complex and rock solid at the core, with frothy mousse, laser-like focus and a very, very long, racy and complex finish.
