Vinous Media

91 Points, Josh Raynolds, Vinous: "Light, bright ruby-red. Mineral-accented red berries, allspice and incense on the nose, complicated by a touch of potpourri. Energetic and precise on the palate, showing very good clarity and spicy lift to its sappy raspberry, bitter cherry, spicecake and savory herb flavors. Slowly puts on weight becoming sweeter with air and finishing silky and long, showing gentle tannic grip and a hint of florality. (all de-stemmed fruit and 25% new French oak)" 05/19

Wine Spectator

90 Points, Tim Fish, Wine Spectator: "Vibrant and precise, with lively cherry and pomegranate flavors accented by green tea hints, finishing on a lively, crisp note." 10/18

90 Points, Allen Meadows, "Here too there is a whiff of menthol on the somber and restrained nose of poached plum, spice and dark pinot fruit. The caressing, velvety and succulent medium-bodied flavors possess solid volume while exhibiting better depth and persistence on the balanced and dusty finish. This could be enjoyed now but I would be inclined to give it at least some bottle age." 04/19
