93-95 Points, Lisa Perrotti-Brown, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Les Champs Libres 2018 Blanc is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc from Sancerre sélection massale clones, harvested September 3, 5 and 6. Wow-it has an amazing perfume of honeysuckle, orange blossoms and white peaches with chalk dust, paraffin wax, lemon curd, lime cordial and candied peel nuances. Medium-bodied, the palate is super intense and finely crafted with a racy backbone cutting through the citrus, saline and stone fruit layers, finishing long and mineral laced. Seriously impressive, this is a wine without peers in Bordeaux. 5,000-6,000 bottles are anticipated to be made this year." 4/19

95 Points, James Suckling: "This is very intense and powerful with dried apple, pear and aniseed. Crushed stone, too. Full-bodied and rather chewy with phenolics and intensity. A real sense of soil and depth. Draws you down. Fantastic finish. 95% sauvignon blanc (95% Sancerre clone), and 5% semillon. Tiny production. Drinkable now, but better in two or three years." 02/22

93-95 Points, Jeb Dunnuck: "From the team at Lafleur and getting a few "wows" in the notes, the 2018 Les Champs Libres Blanc is flat-out brilliant, offering notes of lemon curd, salty sea breeze, crushed rocks, and green herbs. Tasting like a hypothetical mix of a top Loire and Bordeaux Blanc, it's medium to full-bodied, with bright, racy acidity, fabulous tension, and a great finish. It's a gorgeous white as well as one of the gems in the vintage. This cuvée is all Sauvignon Blanc from a pure limestone vineyard located near Fronsac." 5/19
