Wine Advocate

93-95 Points, Lisa Perrotti-Brown, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The Les Champs Libres 2018 Blanc is made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc from Sancerre sélection massale clones, harvested September 3, 5 and 6. Wow-it has an amazing perfume of honeysuckle, orange blossoms and white peaches with chalk dust, paraffin wax, lemon curd, lime cordial and candied peel nuances. Medium-bodied, the palate is super intense and finely crafted with a racy backbone cutting through the citrus, saline and stone fruit layers, finishing long and mineral laced. Seriously impressive, this is a wine without peers in Bordeaux. 5,000-6,000 bottles are anticipated to be made this year." 4/19

Neil Martin

91 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous: "The 2018 Les Champs Libres, matured in Burgundy barrels on the fine lees, offers crisp apple blossom, Conference pear and light candle wax scents on a nose that gradually opens with aeration. The palate is lightly spiced on the entry, with Granny Smith apples, peach skin and quite a saline, almost Loire-like finish that feels very persistent. Excellent." 03/21

James Suckling

94 Points, James Suckling, jamessuckling.com: "Aromas of dried apples, lemon zest, green papaya, herbs and toasted almonds. It’s medium-bodied with tangy acidity. Exciting citrus zest, stones and wild herbs on the long finish. Drink or hold." 02/21
