90 Points, William Kelley, Wine Advocate: "Exhibiting aromas of sweet berries and plums mingled with hints of spices, the 2019 La Cabanne is medium to full-bodied, with a fleshy core of fruit, succulent acids and powdery tannins. Supple and giving but not particular characterful or complex, it will offer a broad drinking window." 04/22

92-94 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous: "The 2019 La Cabanne, which is pure Merlot, has a sensual bouquet with raspberry and wild strawberry aromas, touches of rose petal and just a little dark chocolate. The palate is medium-bodied with very lithe tannins, focused and nimble, then gaining weight towards the precise, dark chocolate-tinged finish. This is one of the finest La Cabannes that I have encountered out of barrel. This is a great wine from François Estager. Tasted twice with consistent notes." 6/20
