    Wine Advocate Notes
91 Points, Stephan Reinhardt, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The NV Extra Brut Mémoire is based on a solera that includes the vintages from 1982 to 2012 (2012 is 10%). This fizz opens with a clear and ripe fruit along with some earthy/vegetal flavors on the nose. It is fresh, light and elegant on the palate, and reveals a remarkable finesse and lightness. It also has intensity, length and a firm structure. A really expressive memory." 06/16
    Antonio Galloni
90 Points, Antonio Galloni, Vinous: "The NV Extra Brut Memoire is a solera-style blend that incorporates wines from vintages 2014 back to 1982. The blend is 45% Pinot Noir, 45% Meunier and 10% Chardonnay, with the red grapes very much defining the wine's feel and personality. Broad and creamy on the palate, with notable dimension, the Memoire is quite expressive today. The Chardonnay adds a touch of brightness that works beautifully in rounding out the blend." 07/19
    John Gilman Notes
92+ Points, John Gilman, View from the Cellar: "The Mémoire bottling from Huré Frères is comprised entirely of reserve wines from their solera which they started in 1982, from which the family draws off a small percentage each year to age for twelve months in older foudres prior to bottling. The dosage here is three grams per liter and the blend is forty-five percent each of pinot noir and pinot meunier and ten percent chardonnay. The current release is simply outstanding, offering up a pure and complex bouquet of apple, peach, fresh-baked bread, a touch of caraway seed, smoky overtones and a bit of nuttiness in the upper register. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, complex and focused, with a fine core, elegant mousse and a beautiful synthesis of mature flavors and youthful, zesty structure. This is drinking with great style out of the blocks and will also age quite nicely. High class juice. (Drink between 2016-2030)" 09/16, Issue #65
    Wine Enthusiast Notes
92 Points, Roger Voss, Wine Enthusiast: "A blend from many parcels of the producer's vineyards, this bone-dry wine is crisp and almost tart. Green apple flavors dominate the palate, accented by tight acidity and intense minerality. Like many really dry Champagnes, it needs to be aged and will be best from 2018." 06/17
    Decanter Notes
91 Points, Tina Gellie, Decanter: "An extra brut cuvée made in a solera started in 1982, made up of 30 vintages of reserve wines, the latest being 2013. The blend is 45% each of Pinots Noir and Meunier, with 10% Chardonnay from the domaine's various terroirs, given added complexity from a year in oak. It's an exciting, unusual style that is vibrant and and vinous, with tart green apple fruit, cashew creaminess and bright citrus acidity. (Drink between 2018-2022)" 02/18
