95-97 Points, Lisa Perrotti-Brown, Wine Advocate: "The 2019 Hosanna sports a deep garnet-purple color and flamboyant notes of crushed black cherries, black raspberries, fruitcake and boysenberries with hints of allspice, potpourri, tilled soil and wild mushrooms plus a provocative touch of iron ore. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is laden with spiced black fruit layers, textured by beautifully plush tannins and just enough freshness, finishing long and earthy." 6/20

"The 2019 Hosanna is a Pomerol that demands, and deserves, attention. It sprints out of the blocks with intense blackberry, raspberry, incense and blood orange scents, lavish and luxuriant while retaining superb delineation. The palate is medium-bodied, multilayered and mouth-filling, delivering saturated tannins and pure black fruit; just a very faint suggestion of fresh prune and fig appears toward the finish. This Hosanna takes it to the brink of overripeness. A Pomerol blessed with what you might call "optimal hedonism."" 02/22

As always Hosanna leans towards the dark side of black/blue fruit. An exotic mélange of tar, gravel, licorice, incense and spice builds in the glass, filling out the layers effortlessly. Soft contours give Hosanna its allure, but I would not be in any rush here. The balance of opulent fruit and structure makes for a super-compelling Pomerol." 02/22

94 Points. Jane Anson, Decanter: "Coffee bean and violet, I love the balance of austerity and exuberance. The dark berry fruits are plush and expand outwards through the mid palate, the tannins are well brushed and hang around just as you wish them to do. Plenty of ageing potential here." 5/20

97-99 Points, Jeb Dunnuck: "Another incredible wine from the Moueix stable is the 2019 Château Hosanna, which comes from a tiny 11-acre vineyard of gravelly, clay-based soils in Pomerol. Beautiful blue fruits, smoked tobacco, damp earth, chocolate, and spice box notes all emerge from the glass, and this is just about pure perfection on the palate, with medium to full-bodied richness, ultra-fine tannins, and the fresh, vibrant style of the vintage. It's in the same league as the 2018 yet has a slightly more classic, elegant style. It's drop-dead gorgeous." 6/20
