92 Points, John Gilman, View from the Cellar: "The 2003 Henriot Brut MillĂ©sime is comprised of a blend of fifty-two percent chardonnay and forty-eight percent pinot noir and is an excellent rendition of this vintage. The bouquet offers up a complex and classy mĂ©lange of apple, pear, orange peel, brioche and a lovely base of complex minerality. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, ripe and very minerally in personality, with a fine core of fruit, crisp acids, elegant mousse and very fine focus and grip on the long and classy finish. There is nothing “hot vintage” about this wine, which offers up lovely and quite classic balance and structural integrity. In fact, this is one of the few 2003 vintage Champagnes that I have tasted that really needs a couple of years in the cellar to fully blossom. 2013-2030." 07/11

Notes From the Winery: "When Apolline Henriot founded the House in 1808, she decided to create a Champagne that would allow her to shine a light on all her vineyards through the blend of several crus and years, giving birth to the very first cuvĂ©e of the House, Henriot Brut Souverain. She also wanted to pay tribute to nature through a vintage Champagne, Henriot MillĂ©sime, which is the interpretation of a singular year, the reflection of the Terroirs characteristic of that year, according to the House. Thus, each vintage is a unique creation, with its own selection of wines for the blend and its own specific aromatic expression." –Champagne Henriot
