92 points, Monica Larner, Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate: “A great value wine, the I Greppi 2020 Bolgheri Rosso Greppicante is 60% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon all aged in second and third-use barrique. Fruit is sourced over an eight-hectare vineyard located just above sea level with a mix of sand and clay soils that are characteristic of Bolgheri. The pretty bouquet reveals cherry cream, coffee, toasted biscuit, candied violet and more floral tones to follow. The effect is balance, and the tannins are tucked within the wine's medium-rich texture. This is an ample production of 90,000 bottles.” 07/22

The nose is both iodized and firm, black cherries, hints of laurel, marjoram, then nutmeg at the end. The sip is dense and crisp, the tannins iodized. Dark fruits returning in the aftertaste.”
