90-92 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous: "The 2021 Grand Village Blanc was picked September 9–13 and for the first time was vinified in the cellar, which is cooler and slowed the vinification down. It has a lively, irresistible bouquet of lime, white peach and apricot blossom. The palate is medium-bodied with fine acidity, quite tensile, and very fresh, featuring gooseberry, lime and a touch of white pepper. Just delicious."

Serious energy here - ripe fruit, exotic pineapple, mango and sweet ripe peach that gives the sucrosity and the weight on the tongue. This has a lovely density and intensity on the palate but with a lightness of touch in terms of the texture. It’s electric, driving and persistent, full yet reined in with a distinct mineral, wet stone touch giving a cleanliness. Volume and layers - everything is to the fore right now with excellent presentation. A characterful, energetic wine worth seeking out." 03/22

92-94 Points, Jeb Dunnuck, JebDunnuck.com: "The 2021 Grand Village (Lafleur) is another brilliant wine from this team. Based on 75% Merlot and 25% Bouchet (Cabernet Franc) from the upper plateau on the Right Bank, it has a great nose of darker black raspberries, spring flowers, bright cherries, and some loamy, earthy, mineral nuances. It's gorgeous on the palate, with a more broad, expansive mouthfeel (especially when compared to the Les Perrières), ripe tannins, medium body, and a great finish. Put this in a blind lineup of Grand Cru Burgundy and I bet it wouldn't stick out." 06/22
