Grace Family Cabernet Sauvignon 1991 (750ML)

Grace Family Vineyards was planted with cuttings from the famed Bosché vineyard and first harvested in 1978. Those first grapes were handpicked by family and friends and taken to Caymus Winery in the back of a station wagon. This Napa Valley vineyard sure has come a long way over the last 35 years, but their wines still have that personal, family touch.

94 Points, James Laube, Wine Spectator: "well-crafted red from a small-production winery, this Cabernet is young, tight and well concentrated, with a brilliant core of currant, black cherry, cedar and spice nuances. Big, ripe, complex and firmly tannic, it should age well for up to a decade and, given the tannin level (and price), it's best cellared until 2002. 175 cases made." 05/97
