96 Points, Zachys Buying Team: "Tasted once from barrel and twice from bottle, and each and every time this little overachiever gets that much better. Like Clinet, this represents the richer, more expansive and elegant side to Pomerol. With aeration the wine gains weight, layers, and depth, but yet the wine, is incredibly light on its feet with its seamless tannins. It is truly is a delicious wine today that is difficult not to drink. Expect to find an explosion of wild blueberries, chocolate covered blackberries, violets, crushed rock and earth, even a touch of citrus that provide balance to the generous dark fruit nuances. Creamy and juicy with the perfect a streak of salinity. A must-buy from 2016."

Wine Advocate

95+ Points, Lisa Perrotti-Brown, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Feytit Clinet is a blend of 93% Merlot and 7% Cabernet Franc aged for 16 months in 70% new and 30% one-year-old French oak barrels. It has a deep garnet-purple color with lifted blueberries and black cherries with hints of lilacs, black tea, potpourri, wood smoke and black soil. The palate is full-bodied, concentrated, rich and bold with firm, rounded tannins, seamless freshness and a very long finish with chocolate hints." 11/18

Neil Martin

93 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous: "The 2016 Feytit-Clinet has a classy bouquet (as usual), featuring blackberry, briar, crushed stone and hints of sea cave and displaying wonderful definition and focus. The palate is very well defined with a fine bead of acidity. More structured than usual, with flecks of dark chocolate, this Feytit-Clinet has great depth but will clearly require time to coalesce toward the edgy finish. Another impressive wine from Jeremy Chasseuil." 12/18
