Wine Advocate

94 Points, Lisa Perrotti-Brown, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Feytit Clinet is composed of 94% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Franc and aged for 15 months in 70% new and 30% one-year-old French oak barrels. Deep garnet-purple in color, it has a lovely nose of crème de cassis, preserved plums and wild blueberries with touches of baking spices and dark chocolate plus a waft of roses. The medium to full-bodied palate is opulent with firm, grainy tannins and seamless freshness, finishing long." 02/18

Antonio Galloni

96+ Points, Antonio Galloni, Vinous: “The 2015 Feytit-Clinet is a wine of dark, brooding intensity. Vertical in its construction, the 2015 exudes power and structure. My sense is that the 2015 is recovering from its relatively recent bottling, as it is a bit closed down today. Even so, the depth and richness the 2015 showed as a barrel sample are still very much in evidence. Black cherry, plum, graphite, smoke, heavy toast and lavender add myriad shades of nuance. In two separate tastings, the 2015 was much less expressive than it was as a barrel sample, which probably bodes very well for its long term future. I wouldn't dream of opening a bottle anytime soon. Tasted two times.” 2/18 “The 2015 Feytit-Clinet is one of the most exciting, viscerally thrilling wines of the vintage. Graphite, smoke, charcoal, violets, and a host of intense, dark fruits make a strong first impression. Vertical and towering in the glass, the 2015 possesses magnificent intensity to match its virile, brooding personality. There is a sense of explosive energy in the 2015 that is simply compelling. Readers who can find the 2015 should not hesitate, as it is stunning. What a wine! The blend is approximately 96% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Franc. Tasted two times.” 04/16

Decanter

96 Points, Jane Anson, Decanter: "Powerfully rich damson aromas lead into a palate with silky tannins and a structure that doesn't hide the alcohol as much as revel in it. The mouthfeel is extremely polished, with a flavour of coffee grounds that slowly but surely unravels and softens. It's extremely poised, big and confident without sacrificing its sense of propriety. Brilliant stuff from JM Chasseuil." 12/17
