Wine Advocate

92 Points, Lisa Perrotti-Brown, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "Deep garnet in color, the 2010 D'Armailhac leaps from the glass with vivacious scents of baked raspberries, blueberry pie and kirsch plus hints of candied violets and pencil shavings. Medium to full-bodied, the palate has lovely energy with a lively backbone and well-played chewy tannins supporting the delicate flavors, finishing minerally." 03/20

Neil Martin

91 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous: "The 2010 d’Armailhac has a clean and well-defined bouquet with blackberry, raspberry coulis, cedar and brown spices, quite complex and nicely focused. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins and a fine bead of acidity. This feels quite savoury at ten years of age with black pepper and just a hint of soy developing on the finish. Very fine. Tasted from an ex-château bottle at the BI Wines & Spirits 10-Year On tasting." 04/20

James Suckling

93 Points, James Suckling, jamessuckling.com: "Polished and very fine with pretty fruit and berry structure. Full and silky with a delicious finish. It's so good now to drink but has depth and structure. Drink or hold." 02/13
