"The just-bottled floral and fruit-driven white 2017 Monopole is 100% Viura that fermented in stainless steel with neutral yeasts and was bottled early. It's very balsamic and has notes of pear, quite typical Viura, with some waxy apples as well. These young whites have to be fresh; it also has volume, perhaps more than normal, with pungent flavors and a faint bitterness in the finish. 2017 was a shorter crop: 300,000 bottles produced..February/2018"
