Cotes de Provence Rose Chateau Miraval 2017 (750ML)

91+ Points, Christopher Deas, Zachys Buying Team: "While this wine continues to receive media attention from the former celebrity couple and owner(s), there is no denying the consistency of this now classic Rose expression - thanks in part to the Provenence terroir and the Beaucastel touch. Once again, the wine has the classic rosé bouquet that is transporting to the French Riveria with its aromas of strawberry, citrus, crushed white flowers, roses and the sea. There is natural concentration and glycerin here from the warm 2017 vintage, with soft welcoming fruit that gives screams wild berries, ripe tangerines, nectarines, rose petals, crushed sea shells, and a nice streak of salinity. That touch of limestone soil adds the right balancing minerality and a seriously long and persistent finish. This is a bigger and more intense Provence expression than Zachys other number one selling rosé - Whispering Angel. It is sunshine in a glass and we like to say you really get a taste of the Mediterranean here and it's a wine that will certainly bring you to the coast for a brief moment."

Vinous Media

91 Points, Josh Raynolds, Vinous: "Limpid orange-pink. Displays vibrant, mineral-accented raspberry and blood orange scents along with suggestions of succulent herbs and flowers. Fleshy, supple and dry on the palate, offering sappy red berry and tangerine flavors that are given lift and definition by a core of juicy acidity. Finishes with strong, mineral-driven persistence, leaving a touch of honeysuckle behind." 8/18

Wine Enthusiast

91 Points, Roger Voss, Wine Enthusiast: "Still owned jointly by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, this beautiful estate has produced a rich, full wine. Made for the owners by the Perrin family of Château de Beaucastel in the Rhône Valley, this wine exhibits great sophistication, with rich caramel and strawberry fruit and spice. Drink now." 7/18
