Cote Rotie Les Rochins Garon 2015 (1.5L)
94 Points, Joe Czerwinski, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "From a lieu-dit adjoining La Landonne and Côte Rozier, the 2015 Cote Rotie les Rochins shows remarkable purity of fruit. The cassis waves come crashing down terraced slopes in a rich, velvety wave. It's a bit jammy, in the character of the vintage, but what did you expect? It should drink well through its 20th birthday." 12/17
95 Points, Jeb Dunnuck, www.jebdunnuck.com: "The 2015 Côte Rôtie Les Rochins comes all from the same named lieu-dit which is brown schist soils. It's mostly destemmed (there's 20% stems) and sees 21 months in French oak. Loaded with smoky, meaty, barbecue notions, full-bodied, ripe, and sexy, with a core of blackberry and raspberry fruit, this terrific 2015 has sweet tannin, no hard edges, and a great finish. Like a lot of 2015s, it's already hard to resist, yet is going to cruise for 15 years or more." 1/18
