Wine Advocate

92-94 Points, Neal Martin, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2015 Clos de Vougeot Grand Cru finished its malolactic earlier than other cuvées this year and there is a tiny stem addition in the final blend. It has a well-defined, quite pure and floral bouquet that gains intensity in the glass. The palate is quite dense on the entry, sinewy in the mouth with crunchy red and black fruit, a little hardness towards the finish, although that will soften by the time of bottling. This is a classy, quite sophisticated Clos de Vougeot, although I found more flair expressed by the Echézeaux at the moment." 12/16

Vinous Media

93-95 Points, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous: "(90% new oak): Healthy ruby-red. Lovely oak-spicy lift to the aromas of black raspberry, black cherry, violet and herbs. Sweet and quite refined on the palate, showing terrific finesse for young Clos Vougeot. Here the saline minerality nicely complements and frames the wine's dark fruit flavors. This very young, aristocratic Clos Vougeot finishes with substantial building tannins and outstanding persistence. Yet more evidence of how the warm 2015 growing season favored Clos Vougeot." 01/17

92-95 Points, Allen Meadows, Burghound: "This is also notably ripe but attractively fresh with its array of various dark berries, earth and a pretty violet nuance. On the palate the generous, muscular and equally rich flavors possess a sleek mouth feel while delivering super length on the once again irreproachably well-balanced finish. The Méo Clos de Vougeot is rarely a big wine in the context of what is typical for the appellation yet the 2015 version is definitely bigger and more powerful than usual." 01/17
