Cherry, black plum and dried blackberry are clearly identified, and the wine follows suit with mild but firm structure and a good amount of phenolic weight and depth. Monteraponi is a historic estate in Radda in Chianti that is counted upon for excellent and elegant wines." 03/21

In 2018, the Chianti Classico is a pretty big wine for this estate, but it's also a serious wine that absolutely needs time in bottle to find its center. I love the 2018 for its weight, substance and faithful expression of a house style."
