94+ Points, William Kelley, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2016 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Ruchottes is superb, wafting from the glass with aromas of Anjou pear, iodine, tangerine oil and wet stones, subtly framed by a delicate touch of new wood. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, ample and satiny, with excellent concentration, incisive acids and a long, precise finish. This is more old-fashioned than the 2014 rendition, and if that wine resembles the domaine's 2010, this has more affinities with the 2008." 1/19

A step up in generosity of texture--and perhaps concentration as well--from the Caillerets, with its citrus and stone flavors complicated by an element of wild herbs. Broad and dense but uncompromisingly dry, this youthfully unevolved wine finishes with a faint edge of grapefruit skin bitterness." 09/18

93 Points, Bruce Sanderson, Wine Spectator: "A creamy version, featuring peach, butterscotch, baking spice and lemon flavors. Still a bit reserved, with the citrus element gaining intensity as this builds to a lingering finish. Best from 2021 through 2029." 5/19

92 Points, Allen Meadows, Burghound: "Smoke-tinged aromas are comprised mostly by white-fleshed fruit, citrus rind and pretty floral elements that are trimmed in just a touch of oak toast. The rich, concentrated and seductively textured medium-bodied flavors brim with sappy dry extract that also buffers the succulent, even opulent finish where the citrus-suffused acidity maintains the near-perfect balance save for a subtle trace of warmth. Interestingly, given the superb aging potential this wine typically possesses, this is really quite forward though as I mentioned the balance is so good that this should evolve effortlessly. I should further note that at present the depth isn't particularly impressive though more is almost certainly on the way." 6/19
