Wine Advocate
91-93 Points, Neal Martin, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2013 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru les Blanchots is a new contract for Jadot. It starts off well with a very well-defined, pure and transparent bouquet: citrus peel, apricot blossom and a touch of fig. The palate is well balanced with a taut line of acidity, great tension, and a sense of reserve (but sophistication) on the finish. The oak is beautifully handled here. This is a superb debut - elegant and detailed." Issue# 216, 12/14
Vinous Media
91+ Points, Stephen Tanzer, Vinous: "Pale, bright yellow. Restrained, more earthy aromas of lemon cream, clove, spices and vanillin oak, plus a riper note of apricot confit. Sweet on entry, then youthfully tight in the middle, with bright lemony acidity currently blocking the wine's complexity and giving the finish an austere edge. A bit youthfully disjointed but, according to Barnier, this wine is lower in acidity than many of these 2013s." 9/15
Burghound
91-93 Points, Allen Meadows, Burghound: "Sweet Spot! Outstanding! A distinctly pungent nose is comprised of strong reduction and generous wood. There is a trace of wood present as well on the exceptionally rich and full-bodied flavors that possess excellent mid-palate density as well as plenty of power before terminating in a seriously long, firm and palate staining finish where a note of bitter lemon can be found. This vibrant effort is clearly built-to-age and note well that it will need it." Issue# 59, 06/15
