Neil Martin
90 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous: “The 2019 Chassagne-Montrachet Village has a bouquet similar to the Puligny 2019, quite terse at first, reserved, then opening gradually with hints of yellow fruit and white flowers. The palate is well balanced with a rounded texture, hints of apricot and yellow plum, and some baking powder notes toward the finish. Fine length here, and plenty of charm to boot.” 12/20
Burghound
90 Points, Allen Meadows, Burghound: "Distinctly different aromas include those of petrol, rosemary oil and lemongrass. Here too there is fine density to the less refined but more powerful middle weight flavors that possess the same solid complexity on the mildly rustic finale that is almost tannic. This too is an excellent villages and worthy of your interest. I would add that while it could easily be enjoyed young, there appears to be plenty of upside development potential."
Decanter
90 Points, Charles Curtis MW, Decanter: “The wine is rich, tending towards tropical fruit, with notes of ripe apple touched with honey on the nose. On the palate, the texture is just balanced by the acidity, but the overall effect is slightly heavy. Produced from must purchased from five different suppliers; only the free-run juice is fermented in cask, before ageing in cask for one year (25% new).” 10/20
