90-92 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous: "The 2018 Chassagne-Montrachet Village had been blended in July and fined three weeks prior to my visit. It has a delightful bouquet of orange blossom, tinned peach and touches of wild mint, quite intense for a Village Cru. The palate is taut, fresh and spicy on the entry, with touches of white pepper and fennel infusing the citrus fruit. An almost clinical saline finish lingers in the mouth. Superb." 11/19

91-94 Points, Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy: "This is a few months behind where it would normally be and will not be bottled before late January. Pale lemon colour with a really classy chiselled bouquet and a superb wealth of predominantly white fruit right across the palate to a clean cut finish. This is brilliant wine and seems fully concentrated. And what's more he has 100 barrels of this." 12/19
