Wine Advocate

91-93 Points, William Kelley, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate: "The 2020 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru (Maison Louis Jadot) has turned out nicely this year, bursting with aromas of orange rind, sweet berry fruit, petals and spices. Medium to full-bodied, velvety and perfumed, it's ample and generous, concluding with a youthfully chewy finish." 01/22

Neil Martin

94-96 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous: "The 2020 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru has a very seductive, quintessential nose with plush blueberry and black cherry fruit, well defined, sumptuous in style. The palate is medium-bodied with sappy black fruit, fine acidity, dense and grippy with an almost Mazis-like structure on the finish. Excellent, but it will require time in bottle." 12/21

90-93 Points, Allen Meadows, Burghound: "Moderate amounts of oak and menthol frames the attractively spicy aromas of red and dark cherry, warm earth and a smoky element. The succulent, suave and seductively textured medium weight flavors possess a caressing mid-palate while offering very good depth and persistence on the youthfully austere finale. This is sufficiently forward that 10 to 12 years should be enough to largely resolve the supporting tannins." 04/22
