91-93 Points, William Kelley, Wine Advocate: "Ample and enveloping, the 2017 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru bursts with aromas of cassis, currant leaf and dried flowers, complemented by savory bass-notes of tar and grilled squab. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, broad and fleshy, with juicy acids and a melting, open-knit profile. This will drink well out of the gates." 1/19

94 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous Media: "The 2017 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru has a very expressive bouquet with scents of pressed rose petal that infuse the multi-layered red fruit. I like the mineral expression of this cru. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grain tannin, very well balanced with wonderful poise on the sensual, pixelated finish. Give this three or four years in bottle before broaching." 1/19

90-93 Points, Allen Meadows' Burghound: "A more elegant if less spicy nose features a relatively high-toned array of essence of red cherry, pomegranate and soft forest floor nuances. The seductive and velvet-textured flavors possess slightly better mid-palate density while delivering even better length on the bitter cherry pit-inflected finish. I like the potential here as this could be excellent." 1/19
