It has a pure, harmonious bouquet of lifted dark cherries and iodine aromas that are very well defined. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin, crisp acidity and good substance, and the 30% new oak is deftly interwoven on the long, graphite-tinged finish. Do not overlook this.
