92-94 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous: "The 2017 Chambolle-Musigny Les Sentiers 1er Cru comes from a parcel of 80-year-old vines, containing 25% whole bunch fruit and matured in 75% new oak. The bouquet is completely different from Les Hauts Doix, displaying more density, darker fruit, more substance and a less airy style, but still very pure and detailed. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannin. There is plenty of lightly spiced black fruit, gentle grip, an appealing sense of symmetry and a longer tail on the finish than the Les Haut Doix. Superb." 01/19

95 Points, Tim Atkin, Decanter: "Nicolas Groffier's 1ha parcel is planted with 80-year-old vines with lots of small berries (millerands), and it always makes an intensely fruity Chambolle with good underlying structure. Made with 100% whole bunches, this shows a remarkable lightness of touch, all sap, perfume and delicately integrated oak." 11/18
