Though there are some blackberry notes up front the red side comes out more strongly on the palate. This does have that classic sumptuous wealth of fruit, some fresh herbs too, the middle is absolutely filled, "a deep lake" by François Millet's description, the aftertaste is exceptional and the texture very sensual.
