Neil Martin

88-90 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous: “The 2019 Chambolle-Musigny Village showed just a little more reduction on the nose compared to Drouhin’s other Village Crus. The palate is compact and quite tight, delivering good weight but just missing a little amplitude. However, I do enjoy the sapidity on the aftertaste, and maybe it is simply biding its time. Give it a couple of years in bottle.” 12/20

Burghound

91 Points, Allen Meadows, Burghound: “Once again there is a liqueur-like aspect to the pretty and fresh aromas of plum, black raspberry and an abundance of spice elements and especially anise. The precise, refined and energetic flavors brim with minerality that adds a sense of lift to the beautifully complex, persistent and balanced finale. This is a terrific villages and very much worth your interest.” 04/21

Other

90-93 Points, Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy: “20% whole bunch vinification. Impressively rich purple, the nose is luscious yet not unbalanced. This luxurious style continues across the palate, yet fresh at the finish, a plentiful mouthful, which has maintained its balance with correct acidity and tannins.” 12/20
