95 Points, Neal Martin, Vinous: "The 2016 Chambertin Grand Cru is the deepest in colour among the four Chambertins. Brambly dark berry fruit, crushed stone, hints of jasmine tea and light briny scents make this very complex, even if it does lack some finesse. The palate is medium-bodied with thick, chewy tannins that form its firm arching structure. This is a bold and ambitious Chambertin, although it just needs more nuance and finesse to rank amongst the greats. Tasted blind at the 2016 Burgfest tasting." 11/18
