There is a lovely sleekness to the intense, delicious and strikingly textured big-bodied flavors that are caressing yet powerful and muscular on the saline-inflected, very firm and gorgeously persistent finale. This is very classy and a wine that should easily repay 12 to 15 years of cellar time." 04/22

93-96 Points, Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy: "This wine combines the usual mix of domaine and purchased fruit, but now Drouhin can choose the picking date of the latter, which makes a difference. 40% whole bunch vinification. Pretty dense deep and plummy, It’s a bit sturdy at the moment. Less so at the finish which opens out really well. Long soft and sweetly ripe finish, a mix of red and black, cherry and raspberry." 11/21
