The bouquet is pure and already very expressive, delivering scents of apple, lemon, beeswax, a fine base of chalky soil tones, white flowers and lemon peel. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, complex and rock solid at the core, with lovely focus and backend mineral drive, bright acids and impressive grip on the long and energetic finish. Minots is the warmest part of Vaillons and I wondered how this would work with the style of the growing season of 2018 (would it end up a bit blowsy?), but this wine has turned out racy and precise and is truly excellent! 2022-2050+." 12/19
